Angelina Jolie reportedly wanted her superstar partner to make an appearance in her upcoming film, Salt.
Jolie is set to star as Evelyn Salt, a CIA agent who gets flagged as a Russian spy, in the new film opening next Friday. She encouraged her beau, fellow A-Lister Brad Pitt, to show up in the film as a motorcyclist who gets knocked down by her character.
The appearance would have been their first on screen collaboration since they filmed Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2005, where their relationship started, but Pitt had more important things to tend to. Apparently the reason he didn’t accept the gig was because he was home taking care of their 6 children.
The stunt would have taken too much time, so Pitt opted to stay home and hang with the little ones. Jolie explained, telling USA Today “he was with the kids that day, and we couldn't work it out.”
