In August, Cinema Blend reported that 5 weeks of Sex and the City 2's production schedule is set to take place in Morocco and double as a nation in the Middle East, presumably Dubai. If you peer into the lenses of Carrie's gold-rimmed sunglasses you will see the confirmation of a desert setting.
While the poster is new, it reveals nothing new about the movie itself. With the desert location already known and the dress and necklace Carrie is wearing in the poster having already been displayed in the first official picture released by the movie, the movie poster really only places some sex appeal to the existing Sex and the City 2 info.
